Yes. You get 3 minutes of listening a day in your browser, with no account. It renews every day at midnight UTC. For unlimited translation, use the AI Translator iPhone app.
Which languages can it translate?
It listens to 37 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Russian and Ukrainian, and translates into any of 98 languages.
Which browsers does it work in?
Recent versions of Chrome, Safari and Edge on desktop and mobile. The browser asks for permission to use the microphone the first time you tap the mic.
Is my audio stored?
Audio is streamed for transcription only while the microphone is on, and the text is sent for translation. Our Privacy Policy explains how both are processed.
Can I hear the translation spoken?
Yes. Switch on “Read translations aloud” and your browser speaks each translation with its built-in voices, where it has one for the language.
How is the iPhone app different?
